We work to a strict quality control measures throughout the whole of the manufacturing process and with our purpose built machinery and 1/5 of Conveyor Units’ workforce dedicated to roller manufacture we have the capacity to produce over 30,000 rollers per week.
Conveyor Units Limited has been successfully manufacturing conveyor rollers and conveyor equipment over five decades of engineering development and excellence. We produced the first Lineshaft driven powered roller accumulation conveyor in the UK. We have grown considerably since but have retained what is important to us – quality products and lasting relationships.
Our rollers manufacturing includes various technologies and customised machinery.
Cutting Operation
Our Rasacut RSA automated saw and deburring system provides quick and highly precise multiple cuts of steel, stainless steel and non-ferrous metal tubes. This operation allowing finished materials to be complete of sharp edges and burs.
Plastic Moulding Department
Our in-house plastic moulding process is a fully automated and highly flexibile operation. This department supporting both our conveyor and rollers manufacturing facilities.
Grooving Technology
We have several grooving machines with the ability of grooving various tube diameters. grooved rollers can be supplied in steel, stainless steel and plastic materials.
Drilling Operation
We have a range of machines dedicated to producing roller spindles to the required conditions.
Welding Technology
Automatic Robotic welding ensuring a consistent and quality finish in the welding process.
Branded Roller Inserts
Branded rollers can be produced with your company details which can include name, tephone number, website etc.. Various colour options available with text to suit customers’ request.

Specialised Rollers
‘Poly V’ Conveyor Rollers
50mm and 60mm conveyor rollers fitted with a plastic ‘Poly V’ drive insert. The rollers are driven by a ‘Multi V’ drive band.
Rubber Covered Conveyor Rollers
All steel conveyor rollers are offered with the option of rubber or polyurethane coating. 50mm rollers can be PVC sleeved.
Lagged Conveyor Rollers
Drive drums can be supplied rubber lagged to provide additional grip.
Testing and 100% Inspection
Our rollers are thoroughly tested and 100% inspected by operators.
